I was sent a Forever Living Clean 9 Detox to review. Rather an interesting review for me as it was something I have never, ever done before. I have never been on a diet before, never had time for fads and, I have to admit that initially I was slightly cynical. However, I had reached a point where I was feeling kind of 'meh' about my body. Although I was wearing the same size clothes as pre-pregnancy, they were tighter and I really wanted just to feel better about my weight. I decided to do the 30 Day Shred alongside the detox (I have never been one for half measures)!
Initially I found it very difficult. For the first two days you only have one shake a day, along with aloe vera, garcinia, bee pollen and lots of water. Day one was the hardest for me. It was amazing how much I actually picked at food before and snacked when I didn't need to. Once day three was out of the way, I started losing weight and it was much more manageable Because you get to eat a 600 calorie meal in the evening, you find yourself looking forward to your evening meal and not worrying so much about the fact that you are not eating in the day. In fact, if I ever felt hungry, I simply drank more water which did an amazing job of filling me up.

This 9-day detox is a pack called Clean9. Its all about detoxing the body and getting it working more efficiently. Its endorsed by doctors and nutritionists and it focuses on losing only body fat, not lean fat (muscle).
The first couple of days you don't have any food, just Garcinia, bee pollen, drinking gel and shakes (vanilla or chocolate). Somehow you don't feel hungry though!

Good points
My weight loss was great.
I feel more energetic.
My skin looks fantastic.
Far easier to stick to than I thought it would be.
Not as challenging as I assumed.
Easy to fit around family life.
Bad points
The Aloe Vera Gel is quite literally the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted although this might not be the same for you.
Would I buy it?
Definitely. At £120 it is quite expensive, however, when you balance the fact up that you are not really buying much food, it pretty much evens out. I think if you want fast results then this is fantastic. Just make sure you keep up the good eating habits!

Total inch loss: 6inches
I am snacking less and have fundamentally changed my eating habits. I highly recommend the detox to anyone. The energy I have had since completing the detox has been amazing! I am now continuing on to the Nutri Lean programme to continue with the good patterns of eating and, hopefully a little bit more weight!
